For this task each group designed a stool that could be built with only three materials and sketched out the design.

The materials and any additional constraints devised were passed on to another group (left) without showing them the 'designed' stool.

Each group then built their stool.

Afterwards the 'designed' stool was revealed and each team reflected on their build process and thoughts of how they would have done it differently.
